TikTok Is Making People Rich
TikTok recently started paying creators the big bucks on longer videos.
Their "Creator Fund" program now pays $1 for every 1,000 views. The only catch is that the video has to be at least 1 minute long. But for some creators, making a 1 minute video go viral is easy peasy...
Like RachaPotes, who received nearly 300 Million views on this video of bottles rolling down some stairs. Which means that if this account qualifies for the Creator Fund, the owner for the account will have made nearly $300,000 on this one video alone!
The obvious question is why would TikTok pay so much money for such a pointless video? The simple answer is that TikTok has its target set on taking down YouTube, the king of long-form content.
